Nollywood Actress, Angela Eguavoen says she will only go nude in movies if the script demands it.
In an interview with Punch, the actress said that an actress’s body is a canvas, therefore they should be able to do anything with it.
She said, “That is why I said when it is necessary, (I can go nude in a movie). It is not just about going naked in any film, one needs to ask if it will add to the story, or is necessary in portraying a character, so that the story would be well told and not look fake.
“As an actress, one should be flexible, and the whole of one’s body should be dedicated to the work.”
The filmmaker also debunked claims that the female counterparts get paid higher than the male counterparts.
According to her, such assumption must have been wrongly informed on account of the female actresses’ habit of flaunting their wealth on social media.
The Edo-state actress whose career began in 2013 has featured in several Nollywood movies alongside big names like Frederick Leonard, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ufuoma McDermot, amongst others.
