The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu has commiserated with with singer, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido and his lover, Chioma over the loss of their son, Ifeanyi.
Police confirmed on Tuesday the death of Ifeanyi after the three-year-old on Monday night drowned in the family’s swimming pool in their home in Banana Island, Lagos.
The force also confirmed that all members of Davido’s domestic staff who were said to be at home with Ifeanyi when the incident happened have been arrested for interrogation.
In his condolence message conveyed on his official Twitter handle, Tinubu described the incident as tragic.
He prayed to God to grant Davido and Chioma the fortitude to bear the loss.
“Oluremi and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord grant them the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy,” the tweet reads.
