In a rash bid to gather internet traffic and prove a point, P- Square’s Peter Okoye popularly know as Mr. P tweeted asking anyone to show prove of him making bigoted statement or derogatory remarks against any tribe.
The singer had blatantly declared that he would give the sum of 10 million naira to anyone who can upload a screenshot of him making derogatory remarks about any tribe.
He tweeted:
With 10 million Naira!
I challenge any one to screenshot a tweet where me or my twin insulted a whole region or tribe or even spot any ethnic bigotry statement. We are campaigning strongly for our Candidate without insulting any other candidate. Let’s call a spade a spade!📌
The tweet which as at the time of writing this report had gathered over 1 million views was however greeted with backlash with many users digging up a now infamous and deleted tweet from him just a couple of years back.
