In a dramatic twist of ‘integrity’, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25 elections, Peter Obi has taken down the tweet where he falsely accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of driving around in a 120-car convoy in Lagos on Wednesday.
Obi, in the now-deleted tweet, alleged that Tinubu moved with about a 120-car convoy despite conceding to not seeing the said video.
This is coming barely a few days after the LP candidate also joined in spreading fake news about salary increments for political office holders sanctioned by President Tinubu.
His recent move to delete the tweet where he upbraided the president has yet sparked questions around his integrity while opening up conversations about how opportunistic and desperate he is for popularity, latching on to amplify fake reports about his political opponents.
