In a significant move to address the prevailing security issues in Mangu Local Government Area and its surroundings, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lagbaja has launched “Operation Hakorin Damisa IV” yesterday.
Operation Hakorin Damisa IV, a strategic response to the security challenges faced by the community, targets the restoration of peace, security, and stability within Mangu and its environs.
It seeks to safeguard the lives and properties of the residents while creating an enabling environment for socio-economic activities to thrive.
During the inauguration, the COAS emphasised the dire need for effective security measures and expressed gratitude towards the soldiers involved in the operation.
