Supporters of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25 election, have begun a malicious campaign against Sunday Ikechuckwu Okonkwo, a.k.a Cross, a housemate at the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘All stars’ edition after the reality star opposed PObi’s candidacy in the build-up to the presidential election.
In a now viral video that was resurfaced in antagonism of his contest at the ongoing reality show, Cross could be seen donning an Atiku inscripted face-cap while describing Obi as selfish going ahead to question his chances of victory at the polls upon such financial disposition of the former Anambra state governor.
The video, resurfaced, has been latched on by Obi’s supporters who by virtue of Cross’s political choice have decided to savagely back down from voting for him while on the show in a bid to have him evicted in recompense for his political opposition and utterance towards Obi in the build up to the presidential election.
This act, it will be recalled, is not unconnected to previous antagonistic actions and vicious tendencies of Obi’s supporters who are notorious for oppressing contrary political views and going after political opponents in simmering intolerance and political bigotry.
