On the 15th November 2021, the Judicial Panel of Inquiry (JPI) delivered its Report to the Governor of Lagos State. Upon submission of the Report the Governor set up a 4-man Committee chaired by the Attorney General of the State. The Committee had 2 weeks to review the Report after which Government will issue a White Paper in accordance with the provisions of the Tribunal of Inquiry Law 2015. In the last 72 hours, the internet space has been awash with the report of the judiciary Panel of inquiry on Endsars which claimed that the army, the Nigerian government and the Lagos State government connived together to massacre defenseless protesters at the Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020.
