The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) says it has temporarily suspended the shutdown of indebted broadcast stations. The Director General, Balarabe Shehu Ilelah made this known in Abuja on Friday. Ilelah said that the commission has received positive responses from the debtors licenses, including big players in the broadcast industry. The Edo Police Command says it has arrested 11 students of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) over alleged cultism, criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms.
