The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has recovered 13 million pills of Tramadol 225mg from a mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos. It would be recalled that recently the agency busted a warehouse in the Ikorodu area of the state where cocaine was stored. The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspected cultists in the state and recovered firearm from them. In a statement by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said that the suspected cultists were arrested on Sept. 23 at about 6.30 p.m. during a routine police patrol by detectives from Badagry division. Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the release of 46 inmates from various correctional facilities in the state. Sanwo-Olu’s action followed the recommendation of the Advisory Council on the Prerogative of Mercy.
