One Alhassan Lawali, a suspected informant who worked for bandits in Zamfara state has been arrested by the Zamfara Police Command. The Police spokesperson, Mohammed Shehu announced the development at a media briefing. Shehu confirmed that Lawali was was arrested alongside one Mansur Usman as suspected informants on Wednesday. Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Pantami, has recounted the success of the National Identity Policy Implementation. He disclosed he received several threats as a result of the implementation of the policy, saying that they have all been defeated. EFCC has arrested two siblings and 14 others in Ilorin over alleged cybercrime and possession of proceeds of fraud. EFCC Spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed this on Friday. He said that the suspects were arrested on Thursday following receipt of credible intelligence report. Among items recovered from the suspects were eight exotic cars, phones and laptops.
