Reno Omokri, an operative of the PDP infamous for his online disinformation antics, has suffered humiliation at the Chatham House in London, United Kingdom, where he staged a failed protest over the appearance of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC.
Bola Tinubu made an appearance at the independent policy institute today, Monday, Dec 5, to provide insights into his governance agenda, including economic management and foreign policy, if elected as the country’s next president in 2023.
The venue witnessed the attendance of scores of Nigerians bearing different placards and messages expressing their total support for the presidential ambition of the former Lagos governor.
Meanwhile, Omokri, who has been fingered in several ‘pay for play’ scandals, stormed the venue with a handful of strange figures to protest Tinubu’s appearance, chanting unfounded allegations about the candidate’s propriety for the office.
But his protest proved ineffective, with Tinubu’s supporters and other Nigerians present drowning out his chants with their own proclamations of the candidate’s strong suits and their approval of his ascension to the presidency.
Failing to elicit support for his protest, Omokri scurried away from the venue while appearing to be placing a phone call to an unknown person.
Allegations have surfaced that the self-professed Pastor, whose online antecedents includes a shameful conflict with feminists across the globe after he made sexist and misogynistic remarks about women’s reproductive organ, was ‘mobilized’ for what many have deemed a show of shame.
