The Acting Chairman of Justice Forum in Mushin Local Government, Hon. Segun Olabode has urged members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) not to relent in their prayers for Hon. Toyin Fayinka to emerge victorious at the forthcoming House of Representatives primaries.
Hon. Olabode, made the appeal on Thursday at the Imole Mushin General Meeting which held at Aromire Street in the local government area.
While congratulating Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the month of Ramadan, Hon. Olabode said the general meeting was centred on a passionate appeal to lovers and supporters of Hon. Fayinka not to relent in their prayers for his success at the Primaries.
Hon. Olabode, at the meeting which had hundreds of party faithfuls, recalled how Hon. Fayinka was rein on by party leaders to step down for the incumbent to do one more term of four years with the assurance that he would be given the ticket to run in 2023.
“Hon. Fayinka has obtained his Nomination and Expression of Interest fForm. What now remains is prayer. He has sent me to beg everyone here to support him in prayers,” Hon. Olabode said.
With the primaries scheduled for next week, Mr. Olabode believed that prayers from his supporters would help Hon. Fayinka to secure the ticket to represent the good people of Mushin Constituency 2 at the Federal House of Representatives in 2023.
On his part, Hon. Fatai Idowu, popularly known as “National Leader”, said the meeting banks on ensuring Hon. Fayinka’s success at the primaries. He educated members on how delegates would be selected and other electoral processes that would follow in the primaries.
