ENDSARS campaigner and renowned activist, Sega Awosanya, took to Twitter to criticize the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for his “clickbait campaign”.
The Labour Party presidential candidate had yesterday, 13th August pledged to his supporters in Eastern Nigeria that he will take back Nigeria and give it to the youths.
The popular activist, however, reprimanded Peter Obi that “the thought of handing over Nigeria to belligerent IPOB won’t materialize.”
Tweeting further in a critical thread, Sega Awosanya told the Labour Party presidential candidate to “stop raising false hopes and address real issues” as “insults and abuses are no structures” that will sell him to diverse Nigerians nor give him victory in the polls.
Advising the Anambra-born politician to stop encouraging division, Sega Awosanya revealed that he has “monitored [Obi’s] chaotic campaign and it is void of the requisite responsibility that augurs well for Nigeria” and that it is “not the kind of posture a country in the precipice needs.”
Sega Awosanya referred to Peter Obi’s campaign strategy as old and ineffective, saying that “promising to give to people what already belongs to them is like picking their pocket and returning what you stole.”
The well worn political tactics of promising to give to people what already belongs to them is like picking their pocket & returning what you stole. This is highly manipulative and justifies the reservations deep thinkers have about your campaign. Nigerians don’t need deceivers!
