Nigeria’s next president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was at the State House in Abuja to observe Jumaat prayers today, Friday, April 28.
He joined President Muhammadu Buhari and other senior government officials at the federal and state level. Reps Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje were some of the officials who prayed at the mosque in the company of the President-Elect.
Acknowledging the event which foreshadows the imminent transfer of power, President Buhari expressed his pleasure at welcoming the President-Elect to the State House which is soon to be his official residence, following the swearing-in on the 29th of May.
