Governor Ademola Adeleke has been affirmed by the Supreme Court as the governor of Osun State, in an important legal decision that brings the challenge of the APC’s Gboyega Oyetola to an end.
The apex court upheld the Appeal Court ruling, paving the way for Ademola Adeleke, who was elected on the platform of the PDP, to serve out a four-year term as the leader of the state.
Governor Adeleke, also known as the dancing senator, claimed victory last year in a tightly-contested election.
