President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured youths that they are going to be an integral part of his administration ‘today’ because ‘tomorrow’ depends on them.
The President said this while receiving in audience a delegation of youths at the Council Chambers of the State House on Thursday.
The delegation was led by the the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dayo Israel.
Facilitating the visit, which marks a crucial engagement of an important constituency, were Seyi Tinubu and Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.
Meanwhile, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake, were also present at the occasion.
Tinubu’s latest reiteration of including youths in his administration, it will be recalled, is consistent with his campaign promises.
Earlier today, the president made good one of his campaign pledges when 25% of his ministerial nominees was made up of women, sparking excitement and optimism of inclusivity in his governance even with more ministerial nominees to be unveiled in the coming days.
