President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on the occasion of Democracy Day at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
This is according to a statehouse press release signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
The statement enjoined television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to plug in to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018 moved Democracy Day from the traditional May 29 to June 12 in honour of the acclaimed winner of June 12, 1993 presidential election, the late MKO Abiola.
