The Knights of Sir Paul Chukwuma (KSP), a leading grassroots support group championing the governorship campaign of Sir Paul Chukwuma has successfully concluded its zonal tour in Anambra North Senatorial District. The final leg of this first phase of the tour took place in Otuocha, Anambra East Local Government Area, bringing together executives from the seven LGAs that make up the district.
During the meeting, deliberations focused on strategic plans to secure Sir Paul Chukwuma’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate for the 2025 elections.
Hon. Ikedinobi J. Rapuluchukwu (Onyeozioma Oseburuwa), the convener and State Coordinator of KSP, expressed his satisfaction with the high turnout of LGA executives. He emphasized KSP’s mission to build a solid support base for Sir Paul Chukwuma and urged everyone to align with his vision of a more prosperous Anambra under APC leadership.
Hon. Ikedinobi also highlighted Chukwuma’s contributions to the APC, including the donation of a brand-new party state secretariat, 21 LGA offices, and 326 ward offices across the state. He dismissed the zoning debate, asserting that Anambra needs a leader like Sir Paul Chukwuma who can address insecurity and the economic challenges biting Anambra State which have been worsened by the current underperforming APGA government of Prof. Charles Soludo.
Hon. Chekwube Ezealor (Experience) who is KSP’s State Director of Re-orientation, outlined Sir Paul Chukwuma’s impressive academic and leadership credentials, including his first-class degrees from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Baze University, Abuja, and the University of Derby, UK. He further noted Chukwuma’s prestigious roles as the founder and Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University, Burundi, and his recent appointment as Pro-Chancellor of Benue State University. He added that Sir Paul Chukwuma is an all-rounder who has wisdom to back up his intellectual prowess.
Michael Chibuzo, the State Secretary of KSP, urged the executives to remain committed to the Chukwuma campaign and work with their sight firmly rooted on the end target of an APC victory next year. He noted that APGA due to their crippling internal crises and the party’s poor governance scorecard across many sectors, has made APC to become best the party that can bring sustainable development to Anambra. The Secretary pointed out that Sir Paul Chukwuma is a highly compassionate and generous man and a core party man who understands the yearnings of those he intends to govern.
Comrade Charles Igwe, KSP’s state publicity secretary on his part warned against anti-party activities and encouraged members to fully embrace the Chukwuma governorship project, assuring them of rewards for their dedication. In her remarks, the State Lady Organizer, Hon. Lilian Okeke, alongside the Anambra North Zonal Lady Organizer, Irene Nwabufo, called on women to mobilize en-masse for Sir Paul Chukwuma and take advantage of the fact that women make up the largest voter base.
Hon. Obiora Monulu (Odu Umueri), who is KSP’s Anambra North zonal Coordinator had earlier in his welcome remarks, likened KSP to the Knights of the Church, who are meant to be soldiers of the Christ and noted that KSP members are basically messengers of the Sir Paul Chukwuma governorship project. He urged the executives to spread the message deeply into the grassroots and strategise towards ensuring Chukwuma’s victory in 2025.
The LGA executives expressed their enthusiasm and readiness to mobilize support for Sir Paul Chukwuma’s governorship bid, hailing him as the “son of the soil” who can lead Anambra to a brighter future.
