The Special Assistant to the President on Social Media and Convener of the PBAT Media Center, Hon. Dada Olusegun led members and leadership of the PBAT Media Center to pay a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.
The Presidential aide thanked the APC National Chairman for steadying the course of the party and providing the needed political support for President Tinubu to focus on delivering his Renewed Hope agenda to the people of Nigeria. Hon. Segun Dada also thanked the Chairman for facilitating the inclusion of young people in the administration.
While going down memory lane, Hon. Dada recalled how the President inaugurated the media center before the primaries. He noted that the PBAT Media centre has continued to evolve in promoting the image of Mr President before and after the election which he said, has continued to give the party the desired image on the digital space despite a relentless opposition from many fronts.
Hon. Dada Olusegun also thank the party, especially the NWC for coming with winning strategies to bring more states into the APC fold.
Hon. Dada Olusegun used the opportunity to inform the APC National Chairman of a proposed Progressive Digital Media Summit where efforts of dogged influencers who have supported the Renewed Hope administration would be appreciated. He appealed for collaboration between the PBAT Media Center and the party to make the proposed summit a reality while also personally appealing to the Chairman to attend the summit.
In his response, the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said he knows the efforts PBAT Media Center put in during the campaign and urged the members of the center to continue the hardwork despite the criticisms from the opposition. He promised to continue supporting the center to ensure better delivery in its mandate as a major mediator between the public and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje also assured that he will attend and support the proposed Progressive Digital Media Summit whenever it is held.
Hon. Dada Olusegun was accompanied to visit the APC National Chairman by the leadership of the PBAT Media Center including Hon. Tobbie Mathew, the DG of the Center, Hon. John Fanimokun, the Deputy Director-General Operations, Hon. Theresah Tekenah, Mr. Wale Adedayo among others.
