A renewed sense of hope has swept through Agbor, Delta State, following the Nigerian Navy’s intervention at Igue Primary School. The comprehensive renovation, part of the Navy’s Special Intervention Quick Impact Project, included essential upgrades to the school’s infrastructure.
Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, through Rear Admiral Oluwole Fadeyi, reiterated the Navy’s commitment to Civil-Military Cooperation, stating, “These projects serve not only to honour distinguished senior officers of the Nigerian Navy but also demonstrate the Navy’s broader commitment to serving Nigerians beyond its core mandate of securing lives and property in the maritime environment.”
Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogboi Nmoyem, who facilitated the project, expressed optimism that the new facilities would greatly enhance the educational experience for pupils. “The project would significantly improve the standard of learning for pupils of the school,” he said.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by notable figures from the community, all of whom praised the Navy for its unwavering support and investment in local development.
