The Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Segun Runsewe, has asked the House of Representatives to give his council the right to stop the nudity seen in Big Brother Nigeria reality TV show. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige has approved the registration of two new academic unions. It further directed the newly registered unions to return to classrooms for teaching services. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidacy vacant in a form released on Tuesday. INEC removed Oladipupo Adebutu from its list of candidates in the 2023 Ogun governorship election. It would be recalled that Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo of the Federal High Court in Abeokuta, which nullified the primary election of PDP held in May. The Lagos State Government has thrown its weight behind farmers in an attempt to boost rice production in the state. Lagos partnered with the South-West Agricultural Company to have a progress of the rice value chain within the length and breadth of the state.
