The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that the 2023 Presidential election campaign will start officially on Monday, October 10. The Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong explained that the adjustment of the timetable was a result of the move to expand the campaign council list to accommodate more stakeholders. It was also gathered that the campaign council is making preparations to receive Tinubu who is expected to return to Nigeria from London later this week.

A 49-year-old man, Baba Idi has allegedly raped a teenager to death in Kano. The girl was his neighbour’s daughter, Khadija Adam. Father of the deceased, Adam Muhammad, who confirmed the development to newsmen, said the suspect threatened to kill the teenage girl if she told anybody.
