In the latest clash within the Edo State PDP, Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu on Sunday stormed out of the state government-organized 60th anniversary of the Midwest referendum.
The heated confrontation erupted when security personnel refused entry to Shaibu’s media team, ultimately prompting his departure from the venue.
This is not unconnected to the recent fallout between Shaibu and his principal over his rumoured 2024 governorship ambition following his return from vacation in the United States
