Peter Obi is using elder brother’s name and WAEC certificate, committing treason – Labour Party

The Labour Party has accused its presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi of using his late elder brother’s WAEC certificate as his. The Spokesperson of the Apapa-led faction of the party, Abayomi Arabambi made this known during a World Press Conference the party organised in Abuja.

During the press conference titled, “Unveiling the true identity of Mr. Peter Obi”, Abayomi Arabambi posed certain questions for the Party’s Presidential candidate to provide answers to.

Abayomi Arabambi noted that the names on the NYSC certificate, UNN degree certificate and WAEC certificate Mr. Peter Obi presented as his certificates during the hurried screening of Mr. Peter Obi in Asaba during the party’s presidential primary process bear different combination of names.

According to Abayomi, Obi’s WAEC certificate bore Obi Gregory Onwubuasi while his UNN degree certificate bore Gregory Peter Onwubuasi Obi. His NYSC certificate on the other hand bore Obi Gregory Peter Onwubuasi. He however said that Obi in his ill-advised comedy press conference told the world that his only names are Peter Gregory Obi, which raises the question of who bears Onwubuasi.

Abayomi said that as the main opposition party, the role being played by its former presidential candidate in the President’s certificate saga was highly condemnable because it is obvious he is trying to levy war against the President of Nigeria through intimidation in order to cause violent overthrow, which is a treasonable offence punishable by death or life imprisonment.

“We believe that rather than Mr. Peter Obi engaging in this media tragedy, rascality and comedy, he should have allowed the Supreme Court to adjudicate on the veracity of the issues raised on the President’s certificate saga”, Abayomi stated.

“We have it on credible authority that he has an elder brother, the firstborn of his father. He should disclose his elder brothers name and whereabout.

“What his relationship between Peter Obi and the likes of IKB, Jakes 5 and the late Senator Okonkwo in the 80s in Lagos. What business interest was he pursuing in the 80s in the USA with the above-mentioned individuals? Which passport did he use to travel to the US? Let him show Nigerians his birth certificate and the name he bears on the birth certificate.

“Peter Obi’s elder brother, his first born was a drug baron that was killed. He belonged to Annie Okonkwo’s IKB Group in the early 80s.”

“Obi is not a clean person. For 8 years he did not conduct local government elections in Anambra. He claimed to have saved money for Anambra. These are the money he put in a private bank and he collected interest on the money. He saved Anambra money in Fidelity Bank. If truly he was saving for the people of Anambra, he should have put it in Union bank or First bank.

“He used the money as collateral for his private businesses. The bank was issuing letter of credit but he is the one accusing the president of being a thief. How on earth will such a person go on air on national television station and accuse somebody of fraud when he knows he has no locus standi.

“People should come and ask him: what happened to his elder brother. What killed him? Why is he using only his school certificate.

“Most importantly, Peter Obi needs to come back to the press and show his birth certificate. I put it to him that the name on the birth certificate is not Peter Gregory Obi. He is using the name of his brother and even the Next International company he claims to own when he was in school belongs to his late brother”, the Labour Party Spokesperson concluded.

The scrutiny on Mr. Peter Obi’s academic and personal records has dramatically increased in the past couple of weeks following his unrelenting posturing as a Saint with no skeletons to hide.

Questions were asked by many Nigerians on how he managed to gain admission into the University of Nigeria Nsukka with a P8 in both English and Mathematics when UNN’s minimum entry requirements stated that students must possess a minimum of 5 credits in their O’level certificate including English language and mathematics.

Also following the revelation by the Labour Party that Mr. Peter Obi submitted only GCE to INEC, Nigerians became curious as to why Obi chose to submit only his GCE to INEC when he claims to possess a degree certificate. This, they say means Mr. Peter Obi is trying to hide something.
