AWKA – The 2025 governorship ambition of APC frontline governorship aspirant, Sir Paul Chukwuma got a massive boost following the launch of a political structure called Knights of Sir Paul Chukwuma (KSP) in Anambra State to serve as a vehicle to push and mobilise grassroot support for the governorship contender across the 21 Local Government Areas and 326 electoral wards of Anambra State.
At the inauguration of the State Executive Committee of the group in Awka, Hon. Rapuluchukwu Ikedinobi (Onyeozioma Oseburuwa) speaking on behalf of the group, noted that the birth of this unique grassroot-oriented structure was necessitated by the need to give the vast majority of APC members and non-members across the state a platform to help mobilise massive support for the governorship ambition of a competent patriot who is also a true and loyal party man, Sir Paul Chukwuma (Onwa Umueri).
He added that the Knights of Sir Paul Chukwuma (KSP) are a crop of ideologically-propelled faithfuls and vibrant chaps across different backgrounds and who decided to come together to project the ideals of Sir Paul Chukwuma across the length and breath of the state.
Another executive member of the Group Hon. Obiora Monulu (Odu Umueri) also pointed out that an independent meticulous opinion sampling carried out within members of the APC in Anambra State showed that the vast majority of members are extremely comfortable and in support of the governorship ambition of Sir Paul Chukwuma and are willing to do their bits to enable him clinch the 2025 APC governorship ticket.
According to a statement released by Group’s Publicity Secretary, Comrade Charles Igwe, at the end of the meeting, the State Executive Committee of KSP issued the following communique:
1. A call for all members of the All Progressives Congress in Anambra who truly love the party and are loyal to the party to observe the highest standard of decency in their engagements as the campaign season for the party’s primary election draw nearer.
2. That detractors of Sir Paul Chukwuma hiding under any guise should desist from embarking on campaigns of calumny, mischievous distractions or propagation of false news all in a bid to slow the rising momentum of Sir Paul Chukwuma in the race to pick an APC candidate to send Governor Soludo packing from Agu Awka come March 17, 2026.
3. That the leadership of the APC both at the national and state level provide a level playing field and a transparent process leading to the emergence of a governorship candidate of the APC by popular choice.
4. A call on members of the party to avail themselves the opportunity of the forthcoming e-membership registration to revalidate their membership and also on other Anambrarians desirous of enthroning a competent government that listens to join the APC.
