The Senate has passed the Student Loans (Access to Higher Education) Act Repeal and Re-Enactment Bill, 2024 days after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu transmitted the Bill to the Senate. The Abia State government under Alex Otti has secured a loan facility from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to the tune of $125 million to facilitate the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project.
