Three out of the six airplanes in Nigeria’s Presidential Fleet has been put up for sale by the federal government. The expected sale of these three ageing presidential jets according a government official meant to rid the presidential fleet of those aircrafts who are becoming increasingly unserviceable. Nigeria’s foreign reserves have increased by more than $1.4 billion within a month, hitting $33.58 billion as at June 19th, 2024. This figure is the highest level since March 28, 2024.
