The United States Justice Department released more Federal Bureau of Investigation documents on Thursday. These documents detail interviews with a woman who claims that President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her after Jeffrey Epstein introduced them. The Justice Department explained that these files were kept private during earlier releases because they were wrongly marked as copies.
The documents contain information from several interviews the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted with the woman in 2019. She stated that both Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump assaulted her when she was between 13 and 15 years old. The woman told investigators that Jeffrey Epstein brought her to New York or New Jersey to meet Donald Trump. She also said she bit Donald Trump when he tried to force her into a sexual act.
Over the years, the woman and people close to her received phone calls threatening them to stay quiet. She believed these threats were linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Donald Trump has denied doing anything wrong regarding these allegations. The Justice Department noted that some of the files “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump.”
Meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers are looking into how the Trump administration dealt with the Jeffrey Epstein files. They have accused the administration of hiding facts about the investigation that could harm Donald Trump politically. A House committee recently voted to legally order Attorney General Pam Bondi to answer questions about how the Justice Department managed these important documents.
