More knocks have continued to trail the presidential campaign council list of the Labour Party with supporters and members of the party outraged over the list that is ethnically discriminative and non-inclusive of the youths.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Wednesday took his supporters and members of the party by surprise when he released 1,234 names to constitute his presidential campaign council with the list dominated by his kinsmen and the older generations with the LP flagbearer showing how much of a fictitious concern he has for the young generation who are said to constitute a chunk of his supporters and how much of an ethnic bigot he is.
Many talking points from the list have since spiralled controversies and dissensions among supporters and members of the party with many already considering to withdraw their support for Obi since indications are now more manifest than ever that the former Anambra state governor has been operating on a charade of being youth-centric and nationalistic when his actions have shown consistently that he nurses unrepentantly an ethnic agenda and has a hidden condescension for the youth.
Aside the alarming dominance of Igbo kinsmen in the list, a talking point that has also continued to stir outrage from his supporters is the appointment of Major General John Enenche (retd.), an army officer, as a member of his presidential advisory council.
Enenche is accused to have claimed that photos and videos from the Lekki tollgate shootings were photoshopped, an incident which the Federal Government had confirmed recorded no killings.
Obidients are enraged at the inclusion of the army general with many finding him as a wrong inclusion adding to the number of wrong inclusions they disagree with Obi on as regards the list.

“@PeterObi @NgLabour Gen. John Eneche cannot be on that list. He must be removed and replaced to send the right message.”
@FadaunsiAdeniyi
“I expect all #OBIdients especially those from the SE to demand for the removal of Major Gen John Enenche (rtd) as a member of Labour Party’s Presidential Campaign Council. Anything short of that means we see evil ONLY when our tribes men are not involved. #ObiDattiAllTheWay”
It will be recalled that the Labour Party is yet to announce when its presidential campaign will begin but with the latest development of dissension and discontent within the LP camp, the decision of when it will flag off its campaign might take longer than expected to be made as Obi presently has his work cut out in justifying his highly suspicious choice of persons in his campaign council to disgruntled and discontent members whose loyalty to the party now hangs by a thread.
