The Managing Directors of the South South Development Commission and the South East Development Commission held a meeting today, where they committed to working together to advance development in both regions.
In a statement issued by Usoro Akpabio, Managing Director of SSDC, she highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two commissions, given the numerous connections and mutual communities linking the South South and South East regions.
The statement reads: “Earlier today, I had a truly enriching meeting with my brother and counterpart, the MD/CEO of the South East Development Commission, Dr. MOII.
“We had a meaningful exchange of ideas on how to shape the future of our regions and explore ways to collaborate more closely, especially considering the many ties and shared communities between the South South and South East.
