Following the successful APC Senatorial Primaries held in Ikorodu on Monday, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, described the exercise as a historic moment for the Lagos East Senatorial District and a strong indication of unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dada Olusegun speaks shortly after the affirmation of Senator Tokunbo Abiru as the party’s sole candidate, Olusegun thanked party leaders, members, and stakeholders for their peaceful conduct and overwhelming support throughout the process.
According to him, the absence of opposition against Senator Abiru during the primaries reflected the confidence the people have in his leadership and representation at the Red Chamber over the past eight years.

“This affirmation has shown that there is unity, sincerity of purpose, and readiness within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections,” he stated.
Olusegun further praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the administration’s reforms have restored Nigeria’s image globally and attracted significant foreign direct investments.
He cited the President’s recent international engagements in France, Nairobi, and Kigali as evidence of growing international confidence in Nigeria, adding that the administration’s policies are already yielding positive results.
Highlighting some achievements of the Tinubu administration, Olusegun referenced the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as one of the government’s biggest successes with over 1.2 million beneficiaries nationwide.

He added that the initiative has eased the financial burden on parents and guardians while expanding access to education for Nigerian students.
Finally, Dada Olusegun also pointed to the increase in workers’ wages and ongoing infrastructural projects across the country as part of the administration’s commitment to national development.
