Following The ruling of the Court of Appeal ordering ASUU to suspend its strike, the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) has suspended its eight-month-old industrial action conditionally, a member of the union’s National Executive Committee told Channels TV on Friday. The Federal Court of appeal has ordered members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to resume work immediately… Following the appeal of the industrial court judgement ruling against ASUU regarding the over 7 months old strike, the Penultimate Court in the hierarchy of Courts in Nigeria has now reaffirmed that members of ASUU should resume with the judgement seemingly the final straw in having an end to the strike. The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) in Benin, Edo State, through its registrar Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, has announced the release of the results of 2022 in-school May/June National Business Certificate/National Technical Certificate (NBC/NTC) examinations. She informed that 58,659 of the 84,147 candidates scored five credits and above, including Mathematics and English Language, representing 69.60 percent. Isiugo-Abanihe also made it known that 75,221 candidates obtained five credits and above, with or without English Language and Mathematics, representing 89.39 percent.
