In an effort to restore academic activities, The Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) Ekiti State University chapter has called off the ongoing strike and ordered resumption of Staff and students. According to a circular released by the Registrar,  Ife Oluwole, the decision was made at stakeholders meeting held on 21st August 2022 to review the situation in the University leading to the decision that school should resume Monday 29th August 2022. The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Education Institutions on Saturday announced the suspension of their ongoing strike for a period of two months.
