Popular actress Tonto Dikeh has warned married women against having single ladies as besties (best friends).
The film star-turned-politician explained the onus to uphold excellence in one’s constituent lies with the individual, arguing this was so because some people lacked the wherewithal to display decorum.
“Be a yardstick for quality. Some people are not used to environments where excellence is expected”, she stated.
Dikeh said not only did married women not have business keeping single ladies as close pals but also they were to ensure their husbands weren’t friends with these ladies
She tweeted: “Dear married women, listen and listen well. You don’t have any business having a single lady as your bestie to the extent that your husband is their friend too.
“Stop making this mistake. You can’t keep a goat and yam together and expect the yam to grow and goat to walk away!!!”
