……Daniel Bwala unloads in fiery interview, calls Ndume a Villainous Exploiter, manipulator, and hypocrite
In a hard-hitting rebuttal to what he described as Senator Ali Ndume’s serial attacks on the Tinubu administration, Dr. Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Media & Policy Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has exposed the Borno South lawmaker’s veiled alliance with the opposition, describing him as a “political stowaway riding on a ship he’s actively trying to sink.”
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Bwala revealed that Senator Ndume is already aligned with the opposition coalition being secretly engineered by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. “Let me tell you, and let the APC National Chairman hear it clearly — Senator Ali Ndume’s spirit and soul are with the coalition; it is only his body that remains in the APC. He is already going,” Bwala said.
He commended former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai for taking the high road. “At least El-Rufai had the honour to leave rather than play the role of a snitch within. Ndume, on the other hand, thrives on manipulation, backdoor deals, and manufactured conflicts.”
Bwala painted Ndume as a relic of stagnation in the National Assembly. “He’s been there for 21 years with nothing meaningful to his name. He’s never won a primary; his tickets have always been charity from governors. In 2023, when he visited his own village, they stoned him. That’s how much he connects with his people.”
Firing back at Ndume’s baseless nepotism allegations against the President, Bwala laid out the facts: “From Borno, President Tinubu picked the Vice President. From Borno came the Minister of Agriculture. From Ndume’s own district came the Special Adviser on Media and Policy. From his very village, the NNPC Chairman. If that’s not inclusion, what is?”
“Yet Ndume hoards opportunities for his inner circle. His children and associates get prime jobs at the CBN and NNPC, while he refers the children of the poor to the Nigerian Army. Is there a greater irony?”
Dr. Bwala concluded with a stern message: “The APC must decide whether it will continue to tolerate an insider who feeds the opposition with ammunition. Senator Ndume’s double game is not just dangerous—it’s dishonourable.”
