Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has formally converted his long-standing political office in Abuja—previously used as his People’s Democratic Party (PDP) operations hub—into the new national headquarters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), marking a significant strategic shift within the country’s political landscape.
The office, located in the upscale Wuse 2 district of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory along Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, by the popular Diamond Junction, has now been rebranded and unveiled as Atiku’s central base of operations within the ADC. Sources within the ADC confirmed that Atiku personally donated the building to serve as the party’s official national secretariat, a gesture interpreted as both symbolic and tactical ahead of future political realignments.
