Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Thursday visited the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he presented his Certificate of Return to President Bola Tinubu following his victory in the state governorship election.
Adeleke arrived at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa at about 5:20pm for the meeting with the President.
The presentation came after Adeleke emerged victorious in the Osun governorship election, securing another term as governor of the state.
He was accompanied on the visit by political associates and supporters, among them Bamidele Salam, a member of the House of Representatives representing the Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency.
The visit marked a formal presentation of the electoral mandate that cleared the way for Adeleke’s continuation in office.
