Ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, over 10,000 All Progressives Congress (APC) women in south-east have staged a solidarity march for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The women converged at the Ndubuisi Kanu stadium before commencing their march through some streets in Owerri, temporarily halting vehicular movements in some parts of the metropolis.
They were dressed in different and stylish APC insignia, carrying placards depicting support for the APC’s presidential candidate.
According to them, Tinubu is the best candidate to lead Nigeria.
The wife of Imo State Governor, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma warmly received the APC women.
While addressing them, Mrs Uzodimma said that the Igbo women are in full support of Tinubu.
She expressed confidence that Tinubu will be victorious across board during the 2023 elections with the massive support he has at all levels.
It will be recalled that a similar massive crowd had recently in Lagos staged a solidarity march for the APC presidential candidate.
Though the party is yet to officially flag off its campaign, movements from support groups across the country have continued to gather overwhelming momentum.
