The President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), will commission the Red Line train on Thursday, 29th February, 2024. This is according to a press statement released by the Lagos State Commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotosho The train is the first phase of the project, which will run from Agbado in Ogun State to Oyingbo in the heart of Lagos. The train, when fully op erational, will run 37 trips and convey about 500,000 passengers daily. The Abia Government has insisted that contrary to some insinuations, the state did not at any time invest in the Aba Geometric Power Project.
