President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised his son, Seyi Tinubu, for his commitment to engaging and organising young Nigerians, urging him to do more in public service and set an example for the next generation of leaders.
The President gave the commendation on Monday at “An Evening with the City Boy Movement” held at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
President Tinubu noted that Seyi had invested his time and energy in reaching out to young Nigerians, listening to them and helping to organise them without demanding a political title or public office.
“My son, Seyi, you have followed in your father’s footsteps. You have demonstrated that you are prepared to invest your time and energy in engaging young Nigerians,” Tinubu said.
He encouraged his son to deepen his commitment, adding, “Do more, not less. Go further. Serve harder.” The President also stressed that young Nigerians must have a voice in shaping the decisions that will determine their future.
