As contrary to their pronounced principle of ‘no financial handouts to anyone or group’, a series of video of members of Labour Party doling out cash to crowd in Abia state has surfaced online.
The development is more shocking when it is recalled that Abia state is among the states in the South East region where the party claims to have its stronghold.
In a series of video seen online, a branded bus of the party was pulled over afar with officials congregated with people who can be seen waiting impatiently for their turn to get their cash in what is reportedly a political ploy to buy loyalists ahead of the election.
The series of video go ahead to further evidence the dishonesty the Labour Party campaign has been running on with claims shared by many that their popularity on social media is bought and genuine loyalists are far-fetched within the party.
It also evinces the claims that the party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi are unpopular in the South East where Obi hails from and would only stoop to bribery to get voters their way.
"How much are they giving us here" Peter Obi supporters choruses as they fight over rally money in Abia state.

But Peter Obi said he is not giving Shi-Shi to anyone, so why are Abia State Labour Party supporters dragging rally mobilisation money with the Coordinators of the Rally?
😂😂😂😂. The only truthful thing about Peter Obi is his name. pic.twitter.com/ZIOIw12cqr
