The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said, upon his return to the country, that Nigerians should be assured that their hope is back.
Tinub who arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja on Thursday after two weeks in the United Kingdom was received warmly by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, Plateau State Governor and Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Simon Lalong, his deputy, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, one-time Lagos State Finance Commissioner, Wale Edun, and other party chieftains.
Tinubu expressed his happiness to be back in the country, noting he enjoyed his break.
He affirmed his ability and capacity to lead Nigeria into becoming a better country, assuring Nigerians that their hope is not lost.
“The trip was very good. I enjoyed my break and I am happy to be back in my fatherland Nigerians should expect a very intelligent ability to think and perform,” he said.
“The hope that is almost dithering is back. I am back actively.”

“We have the capacity and ability to do the job. There is no room for negative thinking here. No, Nigeria has not failed and it will not fail. This country is the greatest of all in this continent. If it is to build, we are builders; if it’s to repair, we will repair. One thing we can assure Nigerians is that we’ll definitely make our country better.”
The APC standard bearer, while away in London, held strategic meetings with various APC critical stakeholders.
