It was a standstill on Tuesday in Jos, the state capital as the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) kicked off their campaign rally with a mammoth crowd in attendance.
The flag-off of the party’s presidential campaign took place at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium Jos.
Dignitaries in attendance include President Muhammadu Buhari, the party’s flag bearer, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and the hosts, the Director General and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong among other dignitaries.
People began to troop into the venue as early as 7am for an event slated to begin at 10 am in what was a show of eager love and support for the party and its presidential candidate.
