The former governor of Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnamani, has said that he is supporting the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, because of South-East interest.
Nnamani revealed this at the inauguration of the state and LGA coordinators of Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council(ICC) in Enugu.
He said he is not supporting him for personal gains, adding that Tinubu has the experience to fix Nigeria.
He said, “I’m not looking for ministerial position because I have outgrown that. We are doing this in the overall interest of our people.
“Ndigbo are using our support for Tinubu and APC in 2023 to build bridges across the country.
“Don’t join issues with people who are resorting to insults. Just concentrate on the goal because this is a very serious business.”
