The Labour Party (LP) has postponed its presidential campaign rallies for Ekiti and Ondo states.
This is coming on the heels of the extremely low turnout at the party’s presidential campaign rally in Kogi state
The party announced the postponement on Wednesday via its official Twitter handle.
It cited “unavoidable and unusual circumstances” as the reasons for the postponement.
It tweeted, “Due to some unavoidable and unusual circumstances beyond control, our earlier scheduled Presidential Campaign Rally in Ekiti & Ondo for 15th and 16th December2023 are hereby POSTPONED. New date will be announced. We regret the inconveniences caused by this,” the post reads.
The campaign rallies were initially fixed for December 15 and 16 in Ekiti and Ondo states, respectively.
