The son of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu has offered the residents of Akko Local Government area and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Gombe free medical treatment and meals.
The outreach was a prelude to Tinubu’s campaigns train to Gombe targeted at the IDPs and the less privileged in the State.
Seyi Tinubu was represented by Dr. Vincent Opara of Klytical Allied Nigeria.
He said the medical team successfully treated 4000 persons under the free treatment program.
He added that the free feeding programme was targeted at the less privileged specifically the IDP community, where 3,000 people were fed.
“We gave drugs and eyeglasses to the patient and referred those that needed referrals to hospitals. We also held a summit where we discussed the health manifesto of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in a town hall meeting with community leaders.The free medical outreach catered for 4000 people across the LGA as much as the test, we also gave them free drugs,” he said.
