The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has perpetuated his leading position in the ongoing presidential election as he polled the highest number of votes in Jigawa, North-West Nigeria.
The INEC resident electoral commissioner in the state, Muhammad Bashar, declared Tinubu as winner with 421,390 votes at the state collation centre on Monday.
According to Bashar, Tinubu defeated the candidate of the People Democratic Party, (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, who scored 386,587 votes.
