Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has fulfilled his promise, awarding Miss Yusuf Aminat Imoiteseme, Lagos State University (LASU) Best Graduating Student, with a prize of N10 million.
Miss Aminat, who earned an unprecedented 5.0 CGPA in Law from Lagos State University (LASU) at just 23 years, demonstrated both the power of her determination and the high standard of Lagos State’s educational system.
The governor had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with Miss Aminat and her parents, Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf and Hajia Halimah.
The discussion centered on her upbringing and the pivotal role her dedicated parents played in shaping her character.
According to Aminat, the persistence of her parents towards her and her siblings’ education significantly influenced her journey to success.
Aiming high was a virtue instilled early on, and her parents ensured she had the necessary resources to achieve her goals.
Sanwo-Olu urged Aminat to leverage her platform, encouraging her to champion the cause of vulnerable communities and develop initiatives to address their specific needs.
“Together, we can create opportunities for those who need it most,’ the governor said, aligning with the Lagos vision of inclusive growth and opportunity for every Nigerian.
His actions echo APC’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youths toward creating a brighter future.
