The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP are back in the news for yet another wrong reason with Nigerians coming hard at them for their ‘ridiculous’ and ‘misinformed’ reaction to the recent hike in fuel price.
The PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunbaba on Wednesday released a statement that ignited widespread dissatisfaction with its inaccuracies and ill-thoughts.
In the statement, Ologunbaba described the N617 per liter price of fuel endorsed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) maladministration as a provocative exhibition of extreme insensitivity and callousness towards Nigerians.
Expressing their discontent on social media, Nigerians claimed the statement from the PDP lacked substance and failed to address their concerns adequately.
They described the party as a useless opposition that reeks of hypocrisy and are only expert at issuing vacuous and irresponsible press releases against the ruling party despite the years of failed administration it bequeathed on the country.

@ayotem4real said: This ones yaf run mad. Even in their days they can’t achieve anything, instead the bring in empty vessels, collect subsidy and queues everywhere.
Era of eating free money is gone
@Ak_Efizeemedia: Very irresponsible press statement for the most useless opposition party in the world.Tell us how u would’ve sold fuel for 150!
Recall economists and experts have praised the Tinubu administration’s decision to remove the subsidy, noting that price increases are a normal occurrence and that the market will eventually stabilize.
The move has continued to garner support from those who believe it to be a necessary step towards achieving a sustainable economy.
