The Renewed Hope Ambassadors Presidential Media Team undertook an inspection tour of major infrastructure projects in Nasarawa State and stated the visible impact of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on road development, urban mobility, and economic infrastructure in the state.
During the inspection, the team was taken through the details of a major road project designed to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within the Nasarawa urban corridor.
According to the project manager, Sam Gina wajaya, who briefed the media team, the road, which previously operated largely as a single carriageway, has been expanded into a modern dual-carriageway infrastructure under the present administration. The project incorporates a flyover, an underpass, and two circular intersections, providing improved movement for motorists and residents.
Sam Gina explained that the project covers approximately 1.1 kilometres and was undertaken following approval by the Federal Government.
He also disclosed that compensation was paid to owners of affected properties, while additional infrastructure-including drainage facilities, streetlights and road signage-was incorporated into the project.
The project, initially scheduled for completion within 18 months, was reportedly completed in about 12 months through the efforts of the contractor and supervision by the relevant government agencies. The project was subsequently commissioned last year.
For the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Media Team, the inspection offered an opportunity to assess the practical impact of ongoing federal investments in Nasarawa State and to document projects capable of transforming transportation, commerce and the quality of urban life.
The team noted that infrastructure development remains an important pillar of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, particularly as improved roads and transportation networks can support businesses, reduce travel time and strengthen economic connections between Nasarawa and neighbouring areas.
Beyond the particular project inspected, Sam highlighted the broader responsibility of the relevant development agencies for urban infrastructure, including major road and bridge projects in the Nasarawa axis and surrounding communities.
The inspection, therefore, underscored a growing partnership between federal infrastructure investment and Nasarawa State’s development aspirations.
For Nasarawa State, projects of this nature represent more than concrete and asphalt. They provide the foundation for increased commercial activity, improved mobility, and stronger connections between communities.
